Damn, even in best estimates, that everyone got 100$ edition, that still bit above 8m or so. Even before platform cuts.
And if that reddit thread was right it took about 100m - 180m to make, yikes.

Yeah that number of units is not good across all platforms unless you are an indie game.

With the time, budget and player count, that is a huge flop.

Keep in mind that, this must be around the 250 - 150 million mark because they had cancelled previous development for this game. Warner Bros. was like ''let's burn for fun''

Strange, there are about 150k on the ingame leaderboards. About 25% have the achievement to even get on the leaderboard.

Even when you click from the article through to VGinsights the numbers are completely different from the article.

Not defending or really care that much (Had my fun), but the facts are all over the place.

How you can really tell it didn't sell well? There has been no celebratory post on Xwitter or here talking about their amazing sales.

Still even best estimates that's just under 19m, even before cuts taken by platforms.....yikes

Nobody knows how many copies PS sold cause they never release that info or player base. You could only guess off steam and steam sold 100x less copies than ps. Even on youtube and twitch 90% of the content creators for this game are on consoles.

Love when sites make up numbers out of thin air.

There is literally over 150k at the max difficulty leaderboard and thats like 10% of the total leaderboard.

You missed the part about the achievement so the numbers are much higher, still terrible mind, like you say.

Hope they turn it around, Rocksteady make good games.

Yeah, but steam numbers can still be used as indicators for general sales and state of the game. You can't expect games to sell on Playstation just to then flop on steam. If the game was popular it would still sell well irregardless to platform.

If you take the leader boards and achievement to get on the leader board we have very roughly 600k $36,000,000 for now with at least a year of content pretty much done afaik.

Not looking good is it.

Give me that content as planned for free with an offline mode which is also planned and Ill be very happy. I don't feel ripped off at all, the game is really bloody fun and ive had 80 ish hours out of it already

Like I said, hope it does well as there's not many good loot games at the moment. Destiny 2 is played out, might drop in see what the Division team have been doing. Borderlands Ive done to death. Diablo is a ♥♥♥♥ show, what else is there? POE is not for me.
