Let's get the facts straight concerning the now infamous Flash scene
I've played the game. I want to try to set the record straight over the Flash controversy. Contrary to what you may have heard or think you viewed, Captain Boomerang does not actually urinate on the Flash's body. This misinformation taken as fact is the result of some clueless YouTubers claiming Captain Boomerang pees on the Flash in an attempt at views.

This game has a budget. You would see the aftermath or at least hear urination sounds. They wouldn't take the lazy route and just imply it.

What actually happens is Boomerang unzips his fly and is about to desecrate the Flash's corpse but Deadshot stops him. He then notices the size of Boomer's junk. Then Harley and King Shark have their reactions. That is the scene.

I agree with you, but it also doesnt matter. The issue is that it shows how upset Fans are at the Implication of it. Most Arkham and DC Fans did not want to play as D Tier Villains that treated their Heroes like this, thats the real problem. They failed to understand the Majority of what their Audience wanted in a Superhero Game.

I mean... it's basically lego DC supervillians but with less variety

And a lot more disrespectful towards the heroes

No, that act does not take place. As I said already, Boomerang does unzip his fly and is ABOUT TO do it but Deadshot stops him.

This game is a giant pile of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, stop defending it.

This game is going down as one of the worst piles of ♥♥♥♥ ever created over a 7 year development cycle.

This isn't a traditional superhero game. It does target and appeal to an audience, but it's a niche and not mainstream.

I don't think Rocksteady is getting enough recognition for at least attempting something unique with the standard hero formula. I also am relieved that despite the initial backlash and reaction they went ahead and released the game after delaying it instead of just shelving it.

The four Task Force X members at launch are not "D Tier" to me -- that is just your opinion. When the game is titled, 'Suicide Squad: KILL the Justice League', I don't know what people were expecting.

The reason it is justified and acceptable is the Justice League are now evil and being controlled by Brainiac. The twist is that each of the Squad members already is at odds with at least one of the Justice League and therefore whether the heroes are brainwashed or not, brings their own baggage into the situation.

Speaking of the game itself, Rocksteady tried something new by dabbling with the live service model but it isn't a true live service game. It only has elements. It reminds me of Marvel's Avengers with a fully playable Story campaign that can be completed solo as well as co-op with an endgame tacked on.

It's almost the same scenario as those being disappointed with Agents of Mayhem at release simply because it wasn't Saints Row V but it still was connected to the same universe.

Furthermore, all of the negativity and hatred the game is receiving as well as poor sales (for a multitude of reasons) only increases the chances that we may never see another Batman game from this studio. Just because they didn't give you something you wanted at the moment, doesn't mean they could not provide it at a future time.

What a great bonding moment between these four misunderstood rascals as they protect all of humanity from a brainwashed and possessed scarlet speedster in a scene that would make the great bard red in anger while rolling faster than the speed of light in his grave due to him not getting a crack at writing something as profound and sublime as this.

But rejoice brothers for we are alive in the greatest of all possible timelines... this one.

I know this to be true due to the amazing writing being done with the help of a think tank of geniuses at Sugar Infants Corp. I cannot wait to see how Marvel takes on this challenge and meets it head on with another amazing live service game of their own after their previous magnus opus was bested by this magnusest opusest of all times.

This was Marketed at Arkham Fans, set in the Arkham Universe. Again they failed to understand what that Audience wanted from them. If this had not been set in Arkham, but its own Universe then this would not have been as much of an issue. Stop being upset at Fans who are Upset.

You like the Game, and thats fine, but plenty of us are NOT. This isnt what we waited while waiting almost a Decade for a Sequel in the Arkham Universe. They set the Expectations, and Failed to Deliver. That on them, not us.

EDIT: They are D Tier because these are Villains that any of these Heroes One-Shot on the way to fighting the Real Villain of the Week. A Good Example is how Arkham Batman takes out Harley in ONE Hit every time he fights her in the previous Games, yet here she is somehow a Threat.

Forget about killing the Justice League for a second and consider that you're going to KILL any chances of having more Batman Arkham games from this studio with your self-entitled attitudes.

Talking about this isn't affecting Warner Bros and Rocksteady putting out more Arkham Batman games now or in the future friend. We're just shooting the breeze talking about what is and interpreting it with our own particular perspectives and trying to ascertain some level of truth that hopefully is greater than we started with.

From all indications Rocksteady is dead with the failure of this game. But if they get another chance I'll check it out :)

Batman Arkham's story was over. There was nothing left to tell. The only way to go was a Beyond or Gotham Knights style game with the batfamily.

And with all the tech issues and strange shift in genera I don't think anyone wants a live service batfamily game

Beyond was the clear path forward having Bruce be a mentor to a young acolyte with a different impetus for being batman. That or just rebooting and making Batman a minority like with the new Spiderman... I mean honestly so many paths they could have taken that would have led to far better results than the current ones.

Talk about taking the best IPs in the business and making crapade with them.

"Guys its ok, you all don't understand. He didn't pee on the Flash's corpse... he was ABOUT to pee on the Flash's corpse. Totally different you guys." What a great argument lol

It's the threat of a golden shower that makes all the difference. Don't show, just tell!

Honestly tho... why? I was kinda disappointed with how tame this game was if anything, part of me really wishes they went all out and killed the JL more brutally, etc.

If people are really mad about this I wonder what they'd think about Marvel Zombies, especially how Sandman killed Spiderman lol.

Studios dont Make Games, Devs do. The Talented Devs that make the Arkham Games from before are Gone. This new Team had the chance to prove they could carry on that Legacy, they Failed.

I have never bought into this whole idea of Buying a Game in the Hopes that the next time they make something better. Want my Money then dont F it Up to begin with. If this causes them to Close Down, then I see no issue with this. Just like how Volition Dug their Own Grave, so to did this Rocksteady.
