At no point did Marvel's Avengers go "completely free" -- you still needed to purchase the game when they made all the cosmetics from the Marketplace free once support ended.

There's a huge difference between free weekend and completely free. Honestly i expect this game to go completely free in the next 9 months and shutdown at 18.

$20 and just sell a battle pass. That's the only way this survives. And by that I mean, people who enjoy the game can (con)vince their friends to buy it as well.

I mean, that's assuming you don't dally and just power through the whole campaign.

I'm a bit of a collectibles hound so I've never beaten a game in under 7 hours (except for Hellblade since that's pretty linear and amazing)

Might as well leave it at 70 bucks. Normal people won't be buying it if it's free and the modern audience is dumb enough to pay that much so they really got nothing to lose now.
