Not that it even matters, because it's a visual medium. Men and women both deserve to share their opinions.

Besides even animals have aesthetic preferences, its naturally ingrained into everything. It's almost universal. Like those birds and fish that make mating display nests, or peacocks who literally evolved a defect that almost cripples them and gets them killed a lot because even they find their tail feathers beautiful.

Anyone who likes to pretend unappealing characters is more "mature" and realistic makes me sincerely judge their ability to form abstract thoughts or have any real media literacy.

Sexy is wrong, it's offensive at least that's the message they have been trying to spread for some years now. Old harley quinn that being the one from batman the animated series and previous games (arkham series) is unrealistic, she has "unattainable" standars of physical attributes. Funny how i barely see someone complaining bout superman muscles or batman training for years to become a ninja or he-man muscles or anything like that, cuz dudes don't care except those projecting too much which blame everyone and like being offended rather than make a change and stop eating trash.

They hired Sweet baby Inc to write the script. Sweet Baby Inc sells a service where they make scripts more sensitive. They call it sensitivity reading. Except for this game they actually wrote the script.

If you go to their website and click the page called Projects it lists the games they worked on. It shows an image for each one and if you hover the mouse over each game it says in the tooltip what they did for each game. For this one they say they did the script writing.

So they wrote the script with the intention of being sensitive with her character.
