spot doesn't want to be bridge?

i let spot be flat and try to click the middle of two crack in honeycave.
But he make a sound doesn't agree to build the bridge. Then the boy said: spot, how am i suppose to do that without you.
This happens after spot become the bridge and I step on it, try to save the girl; the boy said it's to high to reach, so I get off the spot bridge and after that. Spot would never agree to be the bridge again.
How to solve this problem?

if I climb up and click the root with blossom, the boy said: first i need to do is secure the chasm.

if I click the flat spot then the gap:
spot said:eh eh.
the boy said: spot! how am i suppost to get past this without you

You have to go on the other side by the end of the cave. then have spot make the bridge. that should work.

The other place Spot needs to form a bridge (part of an achievement) is right before this scene, where you're standing near the honey tree next to Kira. Tell the flat Spot to form a bridge over the hole leading down to the cave with the bee queen.

If you get stuck, the developers have placed savefiles on their website. Just make sure to rename 01 in the file name to 02 or 03 if you don't want to overwrite your own savefile.
