Question regarding the two endings
thank you for helping me.

I scrutinised both endings. Outside of what player saw visibly in the endings (Sedgewick dead,Sedgewick alive) what were the repercussions?

The girl smashed the mirror-what would occur as a result of her doing that?

The girl mended the mirror- besides resurrecting sedgewick, what would occur as a result of her doing that?

It appeared that spot morphed into a sort of angelic being in the end, Was this a result of him dying? I did not witness any death scenario involving spot.

So, has no one caught onto the detail that Noah's hand twitches in the "Break the mirror" ending?

It was already told that he lives in the "Mend the mirror" ending; so while it was possible that he died in the BTM ending (actually not), it's much more logic that he is alive in both endings.

So since there seems to be a sequel hook, what we will see is Noah's second version of Silence, and I think that the twist in the third game, will be when Rennie's story interjects onto what is going on in Noah's dream.

Noah is alive in either endings! How SenshiOfSadness said, his hand is twitching while the camera fades out giving you a small glims that the false Queen lied to you all the time. She has a good reason to let us believe that Noah is dead, it saves her live (at least she thinks so). I absolute saw through that bluff at the very first playthrough while speaking to her in the mirror, the twitching hand was just a confirmation I was right about the false Queen.

Like many other stated already, you can break it down to this:

* Silence is a world between life and death, like a dream/illusion
* Silence is created by the mind and memories of the comatose or dying person
* the mirror symbolized the decision whether you want to live or die completely (mend or break it) - a pure test for the will to survive
* the false Queen (being Renie's personal reflected antagonist) is doing whatever needed to save Silence and thus trying to force Renie to mend the mirror and luring her into oblivion in the process
* Noah survives on either endings in the real world, unfortunetaly Renie does not
* this times Silence is Renies Silence all along (details see my answer here https://steamcommunity.com/app/314790/discussions/0/1639789306577178987/ )

True, we cannot be sure about what with Silence happens afterwards when the host is finally dying. According to the end scene mendig the mirror, Renie ends up "living" in Silence. If we decide Silence being the world of death already, and the mirror just the final decision, everything is good to go. Renie will be with Sadwick-Noah forever. Only real Noah will suffer.

If we consider Silence being the world in between, which is stated in both games, it becomes more akward. Mending the mirror, rescuing Silence, may on the other hand just be a temporary state before the soul moves on.
When the body dies, we know today, that the brain still lives on for a brief moment. Even seconds in the real world can be hours, days or even years in Silence - who knows? But in the long run Silence might vanish as well. That is why I decided for myself, that Renie's Silence dies on either endings for good - with her or not. Making the false Queen following a delusion, her constant intent saving Silence can and will never happen, because it is inevitably connected to Renie's physical life.

This final conclusion mending the mirror might also be a good starting point for another, very last story part for a sequel with Renie trapped in Silence being the rightful Queen and no way to evade her fate while Silence is crumbling around her. While she constantly tries to fight to rescue Silence and herself I would totally cry all the way playing, even if her soul finds piece in the end. But I would totally love to have this kind of sequel and conclusion for Renie's story.

That hand twitching is so easy to miss. I'm glad I stumbled on this thread. I thought it was SUPER weird how she's crying over her dead brother then completely out of the blue looks up and starts smiling... makes an awful lot more sense now.

It is meant to be overseen easily. I think the normal reaction the developers thought the players will do is not to give in to the false Queen, resisting her obvious lies. From a storytelling point it is good you don't realise it first. Then you play the other end mending the mirror you suddenly realise: "Oh my god, Noah lives! Did the false Queen lied to us?"... and then you go checking out if the first ending you watched has a sign that Noah could be alive too. And there you go, so obvious: his hand is twitching.
