Hello there, for technical reasons and contrary to the original announcement, the Leyline Chronicles Remaster (Version 2.0) will not be released as a separate DLC (the section already visible in the store will be removed); instead, it will be rolled out as a standard update for the main game.

Important: Version 2.0 creates new save files, as the old save files are not compatible.

For anyone who wants to continue playing the old V1.2 update (and thus also the old save files), the previous version has been placed in the installation folder. From there, the old version can be launched as usual.

Development of Leyline Chronicles 2 is progressing well, as are the tools being used to create its successor. Since Leyline Chronicles 1 is an important part of the overall story and the original game is now over a year old, I have decided to incorporate all engine updates into it and release Leyline Chronicles v2.0.

or better: "Leyline Chronicles Remaster".

v2.0 will include:

• New and/or extended cutscenes.

• Overhauled story dungeons.

• Improved dialogue.

• A new cinematic battle camera.

• New lighting for the environment and characters.

• Small group dialogue during the adventure.

• An expanded game world with a handful of new side quests.

• An expanded Trouble Quad card game, with new board effects and the option to refine cards into items.

• Beautification of the upgrade and group menus.

The remaster will be released as DLC for Leyline Chronicles, with its own dedicated save files.

It will be free for everyone who has bought the original Leyline Chronicles game.

From this point onwards, the original game will not receive any more updates. Instead, these will be provided for the remaster, including different localisations.
