PS3 (Xinput) controler Triggers not working
So, when I first started the game, it was working fine and dandy. I had my controller working through Xinput, so whilst it is a PS3 controller, it is emulated as an Xbox 360 controller. I played all the way up until Paramania, and then called it a night. Upon starting the game again the next day, I noticed that I can't run, nor use alternate speech.
In other words, for some reason, the game doesn't recognise the triggers on my controller anymore, but it's not Xinput having the issue as the triggers still work in other games, it just seems to be this one that's having trouble.

Rt and Lt don't work, please help!

Hello! shortly after posting this, update 1.01 was released, that had an option for Xinput. This brought a spark of hope to me, only to discover, that it changed nothing. Again, I can still control Abe, I can use every single button except the two triggers, L2, and R2. (though, as it's Xinput, that'd be Lt, and Rt.)
Thanks again, for any help.

Hmm, I wouldn't go as far as asking for my money back. The game was working just fine the first playthrough. It was only after I'd closed the game and opened it for the second time that it just stopped working altogether. This means there is a way it can work, so they will fix it, I'm sure.

it's only need a new patch for to use other types of controllers, but still have not solved anything and they know that many use the ps3 controller

That's not entirely true. In the latest patch, they added support for controler that use Xinput, which should work with PS3 controllers. I believe theyhad attempted to fix the problem, but perhaps something didn't work how they thought it was going too. Just give them time, they'll get to it.
I'm having a similar issue, but I am not sure if it's the same, my PS3 controller works for everything (Running, jumping, chanting, rolling, sneaking) except talking and throwing. Is this the same problem you are having?
-as well while in xinput, Rt pauses the game.

yes same in Xinput.

for now have not said anything, they are worried at the X60 controller and created the patch. have not written anything more days have passed with no news that they are working on it.

Everything works fine for me, extept that both triggers. Nothing does what it shouldn't, rather, the two triggers do nothing at all.

ps4 with input mapper checking in, passes the xinput test, and works well everywhere else including steam big picture mode while in the game, I did notice though that the controller seems to control both the game and big picture mode when navigating the menus, I wonder if this has something to do with how the game "hooks" the controller.
