Xbox One Controller not working properly after Windows 10 Upgrade FIXED

my Xbox One controller is having a problem with this game. it is like a button is being perminatly pushed. Used to work fine on windows 8.

also having the same issue with Broforce

Hi all

I have managed to resolve the issue for me on my computer.

With the controller plugged in go to your device manager.
at the bottom the is a Xbox Peripherals container.

On my PC the controller listed was listed as Xbox Controller

I right clicked on this and clicked update Driver Software, then browse for driver and then pick from a list.

My PC had 4 listed in the compatible hardware

Microsoft Xbox One Controller
Xbox Controller
Xbox Gaming Device Version 10.x
Xbox Gaming Device Version 6.2.x

I selected xbox one controller and this seems to have done the trick.

Any updates from the Devs on a possible fix for this issue? I am really lookin forward to playing the game. The last I heard you guys thought you narrowed down the cause. Any word on that? Do you think this is a fixable issue with the Xbox One Controller using the Wireless Adapter? Any progress on this issue would be greatly appreciated by not just me but the pther having the problem too. Just a little bit of information here and there would let us know that you're activly working on a solution. Thanks in advance.

Yes, we have the developers working on this as we speak.

I had the same issue. It got fixed after channging the drivers from xbox to xbox one controller.

Yeah, this fixes it, but we're trying to see if we can get around the driver issue within the game itself. We'll know early next week.

I cant even use my controller now because of this game and it wont let me rollback to the driver that was working before.

the xbox controller driver doesnt work for me, Hell windows 10 wont even respond to it lovely

This doesn't sound like an issue with the game specifically - New 'n' Tasty absolutely works fine now with the controller and latest OS.
