Censorship in the new version?
Did anyone else notice the mudokin pop in the first cutscene was changed to be just a pop with eyes in it rather than the original head through a skewer? I hope they didn't make similar adjustments elsewhere.

It's been like that since the Japanese version on PS1. It makes more sense within the world anyway. (look at the Paramite Pies and Scrab Cakes art, it was always cartoony and appetizing)

No censorship, we just prefer that version. We credit the Glukkons better advertising sense than to show anything violent about their products. Keeping promotions far away from touching on the reality of production is a sure-fire way to sell your meat snacks better. :)

^ Agreed. Would it make sense if Asda / Walmart advertised chicken on TV but instead of seeing a nice sliced bit of meat they showed you a freshly butchered chicken... I think not.
