From another post I read that Alf is playable after the basic tutorial, which is around escaping rupture farms, but I'm not 100% sure.
Alf's Escape is harder than the rest of the game, so we'd advise completing the main adventure before starting it. That said, it's actually available as soon as you've hit the first checkpoint in the game.
I completed this alf's escape dlc at my friend. I have absolutly no idea why everybody say its brutal, or see the other players die in every 5 seconds... Those players just totally noobs, thats all... If you already completed the original abe oddysee and exoddus a few times, it should't be a problem! And on pc, with keyboard it will be just easier.
On Hard?
Nope, just normal. I'm not the best with controllers. :) Maybe I'm wrong but as far as I know, the only difference between normal and hard, is that you will die instantly if a slig shoot you, like in the original. Or are there more traps? I will try hard on pc anyway.
lol
There are numerous differences between normal and hard (things like alertness, timing, speed and damage) so it's overall much trickier.
But kudos for beating it on Normal anyway. :)
Well ok, will see it tomorrow. :) I can't wait. Fantastic game, I hope we will see an awesome exoddus remake too!
