Got no Triggers, Can't Chant [Kinda Fixed]

I'm using my wireless XBox 360 Controller on my new hardware running Windows 8.1, and I'm having an old problem: the triggers aren't working.

I've done the google fu and tried a lot of non-solutions: check if Xinput is on (which it wasn't), plug the controller in only after the game is already running, change the InputSettings.dat file.

Nothing.

Please help!

This has been a problem since the game came out. Devs refuse to fix it, sorry.
I had to buy a Steam Controller in order to play this game

WTF, I've just bought it and same thing with PS3 eveything is working but not the enchant !!

Hi all - you just need to remap the controller input for your specific controller. Settings > Controls > Controller Mapping. :)

Yes, the game works perfectly with the wired 360 controller. It's an official one, right? And there's nothing else connected that the game might think is a controller?

only the 360 controller mouse and keyboard nothing else:? and yes offical black xbox 360 controller any other ideas? for me and the other guys

Okay, so I just remapped the controller in the game in Settings > Controls > Controller Layout. I chose 'Custom' instead of 'XBox 360' and tried to imitate the mapping of the regular XBox 360 controller. Everything seems to work fine now, except I can't open anything in the menu using the controller buttons, I can only go up and down. Shame it all has to be so flawed :/

You'll need to also remap the other buttons - make sure you do both pages.

It does, honestly! Some PC configs may mess around with stuff, but it absolutely works. Make sure you've also got the INPUT METHOD set to CONTROLLER, too.

Remapping the controller (PS3) is the first thing I've done. But the keybinding for enchant does'nt work, even if I change the key.
So what is the solution ?

i have the same issues , there is a problem with remapping the "Chant" button, its not only about Triggers not working, even if i choose another button that is not a trigger it will not Chant at all, so the remapping doesnt work for me, and the devs should fix it.
I cant even use the triggers with the Xbox 360 wired controller if i play with Steam Home streaming, even though my controller works in Steam home streaming with all other "controller supported" games.

a quick fix for the xbox 360 wireless controller triggers not working.. is to re sync the controller to the wireless receiver while in the main menu.

true, some people are not that stupid, but the devs are also responsible for making one of the less-than-intuitive settings page (colors and font are not highlighted and easy to miss), i mean some people didnt even notice where to find the option to switch keyboard to controller, and the remapping page for the controllers are awful, and buggy, you cant rebind xbox360 buttons, and if you switch to custom ( another not that visible option ) you can remap everything you want to the chant button, but it will not chant at all, also i tried 2 different controllers with Steam Home streaming and neither the xbox360 ( triggers will not Chant in Steam Home Streaming ) nor the Ds3 worked , and i still didnt get any way to fix this from the Devs.
