Oddworld: Soulstorm announced as an Epic Exclusive *update with dev response*

The Epic Games Store trailer at the Gamescom 2019 just announced Soulstorm for the EGS in 2020.

Summary: The game was entirely self-funded (as said by the devs in May 2019) but they need more money to finish the production so they went with Epic because they "provide them with an advance on their PC sales". The game will launch in 2020 both on PC and consoles.

No, I think he is just a victim of Tim's cheap populism.

Nah, I don't follow any gaming media or social media and speak for myself. I just disagree with the steam fanboys raging at developers for putting their games on epic before steam and people like yourself claiming abuse. Its ridiculous and hard to take seriously when you say such things. (... and the other person claiming I'm part of a black op).

I did say I don't care for epic (I also won't use it) but I'm not going to mindlessly attack developers because a game I'm interested in doesn't get released on what was once my launcher of choice first.
I also won't pretend steam hasn't declined and their priorities changed over the years. Its fine if you disagree but there are more problems I could point out but I feel from your responses it would be ignored and a waste of my time.

No, it's not rediculous, it's called dealing with the devil. E-Pig paying for breaking basal rules of PC being free market. Paying for mistreatment of developer's customers. But you're trying to blame and namecall the victims of such a deal.

Developers took millions of $ in bribe. That's a fact. Sadly we don't know how much money you're taken.

Ya, they got nothing for news. I hope they add better way of getting messages across like this one. They do have games though. I am more interested in playing games myself.

I only get the free games they give away on Epic. Thats it. I do not buy stuff from there. Epic has NO ability for players to review games, and not even a damn forum for discussing their games. Its like they are afraid of the player's opinions. That gives me a really bad vibe which I will never support.. Steam on the other hand has proven time and again to be chad AF in not bending to the outcries of people begging for censorship and other such things.
