Controller Support?
As the title says. I have a problem with my shoulder that makes sitting over a mouse and keyboard for any extended amount of time extremely painfull. The only way i can play games like this is if they have controller support.

Not been able to find any information regarding controller support on their site, but a few of the screenshots on the store page are shot with a playstation controller being used so I would imagine there's some support. I'm sure the store page will be updated soon enough so we know one way or the other.

Thanks for the info. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I am really interested in this game, I've ben looking for a new ARPG to kill some time with.

Initially we will not have controller support - but we may at a later date.

Yeah I thought it was strange that in the screen shot all the skills and actions had console controller signs like a square, triangle and circle etc and L3.

I'd purchase this if it had gamepad support. Will this be click-to-move? If so, I'll pass. There's something about click-to-move games that make me feel like I'm not in direct control of my character. I understand a lot of people prefer it, but it's not for me.

Here here, not gamepad support is a real dealbreaker for me. I found a mod for Torchlight 2 that enables gamepad support and it is the sole reason why I play that game.

Would buy if it had controller support... and a Linux port.
Please dont dumb down team combat for controller support like Dragon Age Inquisition did.

The K/M tactical view is almost useless because of it. Don't follow there path

I really suggest if you need a controller for these types of games, to stick to single controlled player titles.. so many scenarios why K/M is just meant for these games.

Say player 4 is your healer and player 2 needs a heal.. well after you smash your little button 4 times to get control of your healer and click your spell and then target your char.. yep more button smashing to get to your player 2. This can be done with 2 clicks on k/m and since this isnt a pause game.. your dead.

Scenario 2.. you see 16 enemies.. and the mage is tearing your team apart from all the way in the backfield.. so you want to target him with your controller.. depending on how it scrolls through as far as enemy closest etc. you maybe clicking for awhile to get your cursor on him.. When a mouse you can scroll over him and click..

And ill say it again.. find a new game this genre isnt meant for controllers..
This idea is almost as worse as playing a FPS Game with one..
Please watch this vid its not in american but you can watch the gameplay and you tell me how you play this style with a controller. Divinity and PoE won't and they have bigger teams. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=663&v=Qb2Bqo9tdbo

totally agree with u dude , we know we are pc gamers but that doesnt mean we love to play every game with a mouse and a damn keyboard wish if all developers get it...

You got 1700k hours in dota 2 without a controller I think youll live 20 hours without one.. Still highly disagree with controller support. Rather they spend time on xpansion then to make something that just does not work in these type of games.

So... Because YOU don't want controller support, then nobody should? Makes sense. What else am I not allowed to do?

The game is a console port, designed with a controller in mind. There is no reason not to have options for both since it wouldn't impact the game play anyway.

What part of controllers dont work for this game style dont you get? Made with them yes.. controlled with them, just don't see it happening. Way to many disadvantages and flaws as ive stated above.

People who say you can't play a game like this on controller are so dumb. I play games like this on controller all the time. As long as there is WASD movement, this game is entirely playable on controller.
name 1 please, a party based Isometric strategy game on controller that isnt the epic fail of dragon age inquisition controls. The game and lore was fine but that combat just made me never want another game that is made strickly superior for controller again.
That and Dungeon Siege 3 .. Yuck!
