I Have the FSX disc edition but because gamespy has lost their contract with microsoft, we cant make an online account. So i'd like to put my Product Key in so i can play online via steam! what do i do?!?!

Go to the steam client installed on your PC and go to the games drop down menu, then click activate a product on steam. After that click next and then agree to the terms and conditions. Now enter the CD key of FSX and follow what it says on the screen to install. Hope this helps. any more problems message me.

Great, but can't you just publish new xml files separately? Verifying game cache will also replace custom fx and textures that came with sceneries and it is no good.

Long time FSX user here. It is fantastic to see updates and fixes follow this re-release so quickly! Thank you!

Unfortunately you can not activate a boxed copy on Steam. Regardless of whether you own FSX already, FSX: Steam will require purchasing separately.

nice! now get us achievements, trading cards, nice flight sim profile backgrounds and all those steam stuff + release some dlc and integrate steam workshop to make it a real steam edition
