How do you get on fsx servers?
Hey guys I just bought fsx steam but when I go to the servers list, there's very few people in game. How do I access the servers like the ones that AirForceProud95 uses? Also, every server I join I can't hear the ATC.

I'm a noob with all this simulator stuff so any help would be greatly appreciated!

But there's no one in the servers, at most 3-4 people are there other servers I can join using addons etc
Just depends on what and when you get on. Usually saturdays and sunday afternoons and evenings are the busiest in the steam multiplyer. Alot of servers use teamspeak 3 addon(free) of which you can listen to atc or other ppl on their ip address given form the servers info box or their own website. But at any given time there is always ppl on the multiplayer list

You can find a fully guide to using the FSX: SE multiplayer feature in our forum Sam. Simply click the link below.

As Full_Throttle_F14 says they tend to be busiest on the weekends and in the evening.

AFP95 Posts when he's going to be on. FSX multiplayer is dead and that's just a fact of a game that only averages 2-3k players a day. But servers are mostly busy on Weekends and Evenings, like said above^.

Can't really agree with multiplayer being "dead." It could surely be better, but there are still some communities with really cool guys that can teach you a lot, and by that I mean a lot. AA taught me a little bit more about flaring and cessna VFRs and then I applied a bit of it in realistic sim used to teach pilots.

Alright, not really "Dead". But in boxed, almost every server was packed w/ 20 or 30 people. It was a lot better and I wish more people still played it.

Check out FSCLOUD.net if you don't want to deal with a bunch of kids screaming in the mic.

As ZachTheNebula said.............
FSCLOUD is the newest form of the old HippyHappy Germany FSX server for the boxed version of FSX.
It was a great server with loads of dedicated players.
Like me.
And now it moved on to a new concept like VATSIM where you get to play in offline modus while being connected and having the other players show up as traffic.
It still is played by many.
Believe me, its very very nice without the kids screaming in the mic, or the mumbo jumbo of VATSIM where some take certain stuff a bit too serious.
But, if you are into serious and realistic atc and such, might wanna check VATSIM or IVAO.

Its just that one gets to know certain people on a server, and when time goes by people go away to do other things, or perhaps even die.
And ofcourse there are new people coming in, but well, i think it aint what it use to be in the old days..........
But thats just a personal opinion ofcourse.
For some others its a great server which they visit on a daily basis.
