Still looking for people who want to fly in the small propeller aircraft online. I fly quite often with several people here already but this is a small group (compared to the jet jockeys) and there is not always someone available to fly in smaller GA aircraft.

I have been using FScloud or JoinFS online multiplayer mostly (occasionally Vatsim) and typically fly in the A2A or Carenado aircraft going in to smaller airfields. We typically fly visually just following terrain or landmarks with charts/maps - or with GPS, or VOR etc, without ATC control.

Nothing really organised or required, just flying or offering flights when you see other like-minded people are online in the game. A fly with who you want, and when you can type deal - no pressure to fly. A group who can simply find each other - no requirement for you to be forced to fly with me :-) .... this is about finding anyone from the group who might want to fly with you sometimes.

Sometimes people might be doing other stuff within FSX and will not be available - no problem, it's understandable. Expect refusals at times - it's normal :-)

So if you want to fly the smaller stuff online (and you are an adult) just send a friend request, to myself or others - and make yourself known below. Ideally everyone can 'friend' each other, or whoever they want - to make it easy for others to see when they are within FSX.

Yep, I will need to get a flight with you Zach ..... looks like a good group you are building. I looked in last week but was unlucky as you were in airliners I think. I was also online elsewhere, but I will keep checking.

So finally I gave up the around-the-world flight.

Some of them are direct GPS only. Most of them are endurance hops designed specially for Grumman Goose.

Aircraft used: Grumman Goose G21A. I use Lloyd Dixon's Flight Dynamics, Garmin GPSMap 296 freeware and OZx HD textures. The following parameters were tested and fit Erection and Maintenance Manual:
Range: 1000 nm @ 150 mph / 740 nm @ 180 mph;
Usable fuel: 216 gals;
Average consumption: 40 gph;
Optimum consumption: 32 gph and less.
I never managed to speed her up to 190 miles IAS in leveled flight.

Terrain Mesh: FSGlobal 2010 (I've heard it's not important but just in case).

Nice .... Was that aircraft pressurised Licopolis?

I always prefer those long trips in pressurised aircraft to get those massive speed gains at times.

As far as I know Grummans are not pressurized. Their maximum range cruising altitude is 5000 ft. (9600 ft stated as maximum speed gain altitude but I managed to get the same 180 knots at 5000)

Sorry I can't add you or anyone as it would be pointless as I'm switching to pilotedge and P3D and have not being using FSX online to fly. I will amend my original post. You can see there are others here who will fly online.
