Your OP here lists "Captain Sim 7*7 (orangebird)" as working with FSX-SE. I have no idea what "orangebird" means. Caution? Only works somewhat?
Please, could you tell us how whoever tested the CS-727's got them to work? Also, any idea where to find troubleshooting guides for these addons since Captain Sim isn't responding? I'm about at my wits' end with this, and unless I can find a solution soon I'm going to uninstall Steam Edition and re-install my MSFSX-Deluxe from the boxed DvDs.
Sadly, Steve's DX10 Fixer has been removed from the market and is no longer available. I'd be delighted if the Captain Sim 727's would just work in my plain old DX9 installation of FSX-SE.
i have become to run with autopilot, but i need more trys ^^, now to my problem
when i do autopilot off and try go get more speed manually.
The Twin-Throttle will dont move forward. I
can push backward and whe i push forward it stay at 0.
anyone have idea ?
Not a compatibilty issue. It is a proper setup issue. The manual has a very good throttle setup explanation. The AB uses "gates".
They deleted/cancelled my support ticket and referred me to a Knowledge Base article about the 777, which is not even the correct airplane. Here is the entire contents of the KB article they pointed me to:
"Currently we only support 777 Captain in Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition. А or other products please stand by for updates."
This could be read to imply that their 777 only works in the Steam edition, which is ludicrous, so it must be the other possible meaning- they probably meant to say that the 777 is the only airplane they support in FSX-SE. I have no idea what "A or other products" means, but if it means "for other products," apparently they are working on updating them.
So it is clear that the Captain Sim 727 does NOT work in FSX-SE, and based on Captain Sim's KB article quoted above, neither do any other Captain Sim products except the 777.
