I am working on that now. Mines did that too! Forget about the Razbam site. I spent almost 2 weeks for a responce. Still no answer. I think that we have brought defective software. Is yours already running at high speed?

I tried the facebook angle. I ask a question about the Harrier but never got a response. I guess nobody cares. The forum is dead as far as I am concern. I was reading about the problem we have and nobody never figured it out! There are videos on YouTube about starting it up but the certification sheet is a mystery to me. So I have learn to bypass it and don't use the certification sheet.

Are you able to fire or release weapons?

Captain Stabbin 2015 年 6 月 14 日 上午 2:21
Nope! I have only been able to fly "some what". The problem what really bugs me is the startup. What I mean is I have not figured out to preform a dark and cold start up. The damn thing is always on. When I select the Harrier the first thing I have to do is stop the aircraft from rolling down the runway by applying the parking brake. Since the forum for this aircraft is basiclly dead, I found a YouTube video that was awful but check out this link:

As for weapons, I have no idea and really doubt if it is possible. But I would love for someone to prove me wrong! I have been on this for weeks and have accepted the fact that they basicly stole money from me and everyone else!
Hope this helps.

Hello i dont know how i done it but a manage to find two mamuels after reloding this craft three times Had to replace a SSD drive and reloaded FSX two times.tried to post it here but cant. try looking in all the folder that have your harrier in it .there may be more than on or in multipul loacations .

There is no weapons release or bombs or whatever going of in fsx:se standard. There is TACPAC addon but i have no experiance with it.
If you want to fly and blow stuff up, go for DCS. That is just amazing but do be prepared to buy addon aircraft like A10-C.
DCS standard is free btw
That is if you want realism

Hey guys just wanted to post on here how I fixed my issue with the aircraft not being certified to fly. I hope this helps everyone else as it has been many years trying to figure it out.
Step 1. Locate your fsx folder in your roaming folder mine is as follows:
C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
Step 2. Once you’re in the fsx folder look for a file called dll.xml.
Step 3. Open the dll.xml file in your fsx folder. You will need a program like notepad ++ or similar. If anybody else has a list of these type of programs please list to help the rest of us out.
Step4. Go down to where you see the following
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>RAZBAM AV-8B Harrier Control Manager</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>Modules\RZAV8BCM.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
Step 5. My issue was that the path was all wrong. It wasn’t loading the dll file because for some reason it lost the right path to the RZAV8BCM.dll file. The path shown is the correct path that it should be. Please note that I’m using steam but I don’t think it will matter if it’s the boxed version either. My old one read RZAV8BCM and lacked the Modules path all together.
Step 6. As with any Fsx file you should make a backup before making any changes. Make the adjustments needed in the Path section highlighted red to stand out. It should read the way mine does.
Step 7. Save file or overwrite the one in place to keep the changes you made.
Step 8. Load fsx and see if it loads the module. It should but if it doesn’t the fix is to go into your fsx.cfg and remove everything in the trust section and save. That will push fsx to load all your modules one at a time. Now mine loaded but still did not work for me.
Step 9. If yours is like mine and still won’t work you need to create a folder on your desktop and install the aircraft into that folder. You can do that by simply changing the installation location when asked.
Step 10. Once it is installed you will need to open that folder and you will see a addons module file.
Step 11. Open this addons module and take the dll file and move it to you fsx modules folder. If asked to overwrite hit yes.
Step 12. Reload fsx and load up your AV-8B. If yours is like mine it will work for you.
If you guys have questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them. If you know someone out there that is having this problem please pass the word. The product is good even if their customer service failed us on this one. I hope this livens up the AV-8B community in fsx.

^^^^THIS FIX WORKS^^^^
If anyone is still reading this thread (I've come to realize this Harrier is a huge pain in the ass for FSX SE, which is a shame since it looks very well made), I followed njp452's instructions and, although there was a little confusion with file locations, it seemed to fix the "Aircraft Not Certified to Fly" issue. Thanks for getting me this far!

Still can't get the aircraft to shut down though. The jet happily sits there running despite fuel pumps, battery, and APU being turned off (or the switches set to off anyway).

Wondering if anyone's figured this out since.

Hello CajunPolyester it looks like he had three posible fixes in the above post, which one did you use. I used to know how to alter the XML doc but its been so long i forgot. Also the fix you applied did it allow you to be able to release or fire any weapons? Thank you.

kvngentile, the fix is in the xml file. I use notepad++ to edit the xml file. If you need it the link is below.
https://notepad-plus-plus.org/
I apologize for it being a little confusing. I guess I should rewrite it so that its a little less confusing. kvngentile I will watch this post for a while to see if you have any questions or issues. Maybe we can set up a discord and I can walk you through it if need be. I fought with Razbam to try and fix this issue and they all but told me that they didn't care. So I found a way to fix it myself.
