ICE-AI Traffic is back as SKY-AI

Controversial, freeware AI program "ICE-AI" has returned as a new group called SKY-AI. They are making it clear this time, that they are only making an installer, and do not own the freeware models that they include in the installer. If you have ever used WOAI, you know it is a painstaking and tedious process to install individual packages, and SKY-AI solves that. If you would like to check it out, you can find it here.

There's also one written by alex schneider on the WOAI forums, I personally perfer this one as it is in my opnion more accurate. I think the Ross version misses a few of the packages. They both do the samething and you will need an AVSIM account to use this downloader also. You can find a download link in the WOAI forums on this thread.

EDIT: Downloaded and installed 432 airlines. Made a backup using the installer and it is a 732Mb .ZIP file... Hehe. Time to pick some far off airports and see who's home...

What about MT6 is better? WoAi traffic follows ATC on the ground and in the air, and it looks good. I don't see what I am missing.

A lot of WOAI has older FS2004 texture stuff. With MyTraffic it's current FSX texture compliance and his support is great...and AI quality rivals WOAI.

Okay. That is true. I was just coming back to say that about 20 or so of them had FS9 flight plans (out of 298). I had to use AIFP3 to convert them. I've checked out a few airports around the world, and I now have geographically appropriate traffic. If the idea of converting the flight plans scares you, get MT6.

One of the developers of WOAI which is Peter van der Veen has a very simple FS9 to FSX Flight plan converter.

It renumbers the days of the week since FSX uses Monday as the zero day, changes all obsolete FS9 airports to the new ICAO code FSX airports and makes the Flight Plans compatible with the default AI Planes, ships and carriers.

What's up bro, I believe the link that you're looking for is here. It's not a script, it's a small applicaton written by Ross, the developer of vPilot. Since vPilot no longer supports IVAO matching rules, he wrote this as a quick way to get WOAI up and running on your system. I used it and it works like a charm. You will need an AVSIM account to use it, because the application parses their server, and automatially downloads all of WOAI models for FSX.

I tried ICE AI before and ended up having to wipe my system and reinstall everyting due to a virus. I can't confirm that it was their installer that did it, however I had some crazy stuff happening to my system after I did it. I think D'Andre over ADX had a similar expierence.

However WOAI with Ross's installer is golden.

After running Ross's program, just head over to WOAI's webpage and download the WOAI package installer. That tool will install all of the WOAI packages that you downloaded automaically. The entire process should not take you more than about 5-10 minutes to get all of the WOAI pakages downloaded and installed.

I would delete all the ice, sky or global ai models and traffic files.

Until recently, everything was still normal. Now I see in Europe and worldwide, only Lufthansa, Iberia, Privatair and Swiss machines. Outside Europe, therefore, for example, in Asia the Traffic Transport has also become less. I use the Steam edition, unfortunately, I no longer makes the game so much fun without traffic. I hope you can help me. :(

The only real malware concerning to Sky Ai Traffic 1.0 is that your fps will drastically drop 90% if you pull the slider beyond 50%. Unless you do not care about seeing around only 20 planes in big hubs like KJFK, it'll piss you off... I promise!

Dude, crawl back to AVSim where I'm sure you're appreciated. As others have said, those draconian geriatrics ban people for even asking about ICE/SKY AI (hilariously censoring the words 'ICE' and 'Sky' when referring to it like it's a binary Voldemort).

Now, the thing that concerns me about the package is malware. The file itself is a 1.3 gigabyte exe, which means there's really no easy way to scan it with something like Virus Total, and for that reason alone I probably won't use it, lest I have a repeat of what My Traffic Professional 6 did to my system, which was to completely hose my FSX install.

I had everything installed and working perfectly, played for a few weeks and decided I wanted more traffic, bought and installed My Traffic Professional and on my first flight I had a crash to desktop. Restarted the flight, crashed again. Program looks like it's from 1998 and there really is no way to properly remove and clean it up. Would get a refund if I could.
