Ezdok issues please help

Hello, When Im in FSX and i click add-on ezdok show studio, my ezdok camera will work but once i click back into FSX i no longer can use the ezdok camera feature unless im in the show studio. Please help me with this issue!

Would be interested to hear any solutions -- I just uninstalled EzDok because of difficulties with adjusting cameras, flicking screens and the sort -- used it for over a year with no problems - but after not using the simulator for several months - when I came back started having major problems -- Uninstalled then started from scratch and still couldn't define new cameras - tried to get the latest update from Flight1 - but the "keyless" system to down load recognizes my username / password but fails to download the update with an error 13 telling me to contact Flight1 to resolve -- What a royal pain -- I probably will not ever buy anything from Flight1 again because of the system.

Totally agree with you ref Flight1. Their system is a mind destroying, over-secured farce, that sucks the will to live out of you. I just had a rant about buying from them and the equally stupid Justflight purchasing system on another thread.

Are you in windowed mode and still having it do this?

Also meant to say that you need to reinstall again from the the flight 1 wrapper. Rather than an old download, as it does not install properly ...... You might have done this already.

I've reinstalled over 10 times! i cannont find a fix for this... Im also using windows 10

Also try hitting space bar twice in an external view. I think this resets cameras if I remember right.

I know it will probably be obvious, but I will ask anyway. Have you run the Ezdok config.exe after the install?

Yes i have, also when in config.exe when i hit Options > Registry Components, I get 2 errors.

1. The module "dx8vb.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x8007005.
2. The module "Ezsc.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80040201.

Are you running Steam as admin? If you are it may also be worth changing the properties for EZCA.exe to run as admin

The second error is a UAC issue, the following article gives a slight insight into the error:

Sorry it's config.exe that should be run with admin privilages, the link still applies.

Ok we made progress, Running as Admin both config.exe and ezdok app works. Now let me get in the air and see if when i cycle through my camera views that i get the shaking effect because that was another issue that wasnt working lol

I have successully gotten the latest version from Flight1 - but have a problem with all screens flickering with Ezdok active - almost like two different applications are trying to render the screen. Disabling Ezdok globally eliminates the flickering. Also can not adjust the camera views in Ezdok when it is engaged - I get the pinging tone when I hit "2" on the numbe-pad, but the left/tight up/down and PgUP/PgDn keys have no affect to adjust the camera.

@Leadcatcher. The only things I can think of from what you describe are to check that the FSX keymappings for camera views have been cleared and check the Ezdok Key and Button settings. Here are mine for comparison if it helps any:
