little problem with ftx trees hd
Hi, i purchased ftx trees hd from orbx, i downloaded and installed ftx central 3 which is the last one and i added to it the last libraries, also the central shows me that ftx trees hd is installed properly but when launching fsx steam the trees are the same, no differences with fsx steam default one.
I already have .NET framework 4.5 and above which is required for ftx trees hd to run properly, my OS is windows 10 and i got an i7 processor 4790 @3.60 ghz and 16gb ram memory.
I did a formating of my pc yesterday, i got only fsx steam installed, i don't have any conflict with fsx boxed etc, => please if someone can help me for this it would be very appreciated, thank you in advance.

I would imagine it's sitting too low in the pecking order within the FSX scenery library. I would Imagine the Product order would be (if you had these products) .... Orbx libraries, HD trees, Orbx airports, Orbx regions, Orbx global etc, then the default stuff after.

Prioritise in this order (even if you don't have all those products) and the trees should show instead of the default trees. There might also be a minimum settings requirement within the HD trees PDF.

Hi, thank you for your reply, i've take a look to the fsx scenery library then i have put all my orbx at high priority, also i tried autogen density and scenery complexity from normal to dense both but trees are still the same ( still as default one ) , i don't know why this can happen or can be caused.

Try updating the Orbxlibs. That has fixed everything that ever gone wrong with orbx on my system.

Are you seeing it listed in the library?

There is no listing for trees in the FSX scenery library. It is a texture replacement package that simply overwrites the original trees.

Unless you are talking about his Steam library... Then... Never mind. 😀

Ahh ... I see. Typically Orbx just adds additional files so you can revert back to standard. I'm surprised they actually change core scenery entries for this package.
