How can i get Razbam Harrier to work on Fsx: SE?
Hi there, just wondering if there is anyone who can help me get my razbam harrier gr9 working on steam edition, ive installed the game and put it onto my desktop and manually copied and pasted the files from harrier into the appropiate files on fsx:steam, the harrier shows up on menu and is selectable and all good when loaded up as it was on my old pc with acceleration.
The problem i have run into on steam now is that the thrust nozzles wont work with F5 - F8 key along with flaps so i have to mauanlly look and select it with my mouse which is fairly hard when flying with a keyboard and joystick etc, and the nozzle position indicator in cockpit isnt working when i do select different nozzle angles.
I have only had about an hour messing around but so far everything else seems to be working fine with it apart from the nozzle issue and have succesfully taken it for a nice smooth cruise and done a circuit in it and it flew like smoother than on my old pc.

Many thanks people
Tom

I can't tell you what to change, but I suspect that you need to look at your keyboard control mapping in control settings. In FSX-SE, F5-F8 are the control keys for flaps. Maybe it is Shift-F5 through Shift-F8 or Ctrl-F5 through Ctrl-F8???

cheers for the help got it sorted
Looks like its been a while, but anyone know how to actually turn this thing off?

After manually placing files after download I was able to select and load the aircraft. Its flyable from what I can tell so far (haven't attempted VTOL), but I can't seem to shut the jet down so I can configure the stores properly for VTOL (and hopefully TacPack usage).

CTRL+SHIFT+1 doesnt work and neither does shutting Fuel Pumps, Battery, and APU off. Anyone figure this out?

Also a Fuel Control lever at the very left rear of the cockpit yellow stripped will shut down engines

That was it, thanks.
So now it seems I have an issue with clearing fuel tanks. I know the manual says there can't be any fuel allocated to that station otherwise it will lock that station and prevent the fuel tank from being removed.

I've tried going into the "Aircraft\ChangeFuel&Payload" screen and zeroing out the stations that way. Returned to the stores configurator and it seemed to fill them right back up. Then I read further through the manual and it said:

"It is recommended that you use the MSC for loading/unloading including fuel. Using FSX Aircraft Fuel/Payload menu can create problems with the module."

What MSC refers to here I have no idea, as this is the only place it is mentioned in the entire manual. Only thing I can think of is they meant the Stores Management Control Set (SMCS), which doesnt help solve the problem I am having...
