Intel HD 4600 Graphics Card
I am considering a new PC with Intel HD 4600 Graphics Card. Can anybody please tell if such graphics card can be used with FSX: SE?
Are performances acceptable?

As an alternate solution, can I run FSX:SE on an Intel HD 530 Graphicsa card?
Which solution is supposed ti gibe better performance?

Intel 'graphics cards' are pretty awful when it comes to gaming - you can get a used nvidia card off ebay for 50 bucks that will be better.

Well used graphic cards cant be placed in a notebook and Intel graphic chips aren't that bad.
The Intel HD 4600 will be able to run FSX, at least on DX9.

Nvidia Quadro to Intel integrated stuff is a pretty long jump...just saying.

A recent Nvidia card from series 6-9 with 2nd number in model at least 4 to 5 or equivalent ATI card, and a reasonably fast CPU with at least 6GB of memory and 64bit OS would be minimum if you plan to do anything significant with this sim.

Stick with a dedicated video card vs Intel HD graphics.

I agree Jeff - my point was really that even a cruddy old 2nd hand nvidia card from someone you don't trust and that costs about as much as having a couple of pizzas delivered is probably a better option than using intel graphics.

Just had a quick look, there's a guy on ebay selling a working but overheating GTX480 for $10. So if you know how to fit a cooler there's no excuse for using intel graphics (assuming you're not playing on a laptop) :happymeat:

(/not being 100% srs)

Well if its overheating the cover can come off and cleaned out with canned air did that on my 570gtx but it died after time but gave me a reason too get that 970:steamhappy:

Works out cheaper than canned in the long run
