MS Sidewinder Precision 2
I recently got a sidewinder joystick from a flea market and I was wondering if it would work well with FSX. I've tested it in GEFS and it worked well.

This is the same one I'm having problems with. Bought it at a thrift store years ago for $2. It just recently quit working after a Windows update. It's really ticking me off. >:-<

Grr.. Going to buy a REAL peripheral very soon.

It's actually been working pretty well.

I had to tweak the throttle's deadzone because I couldn't put it all the way up or all the way down.

Other than that, it worked straight after I got it.

That doesn't change how much I want a yoke, though that's a bit expensive.

I opted for a bargain controller: Logitech 3D Extreme Pro. I didn't want to go too fancy... I have a bad tendency to break away from playing one game to move on to something else when the mood strikes me.. Then return in maybe, 2, 3, or 10 years. :-(
