Keyboard control really weird
Im new to flight simming and i dont have a joystick. I have been using my mouse and keyboard and its fine exept one thing. Why are they keyboard controls so weird? I cant use my rudder because of how weird they are. I have to press the key, wait 1 second then it will move or i just have to press the rudder key lots. Is there a way to make the controls smooth? Or am I just going to have to buy a joystick so I can use rudder controls?

The problems you are describing is just the classic "keyboarder" issues. The only way to truly play a flight sim, is with some sort of joystick. A low end one that I started out with is the Logitech Extreme Pro 3D for around 30-40 USD. The LEP3D is great for beginners. I have since upgraded. Worked amazing for me when I had it. It includes a rudder control so it is nice.

The Mad Catz V.1 is also a good start for US$30, it has a twist for rudder as well as a throttle.

Yeah, I forgot to mention the LEP3D also has a throttle control.

Yeah, the extreme pro is pretty good for beginners. I have a GoFlight yoke now. Really enjoyed the Extreme a lot too! I highly recommend it for those new to flying.
