How do I setup Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas X?
So ok, I have a new shiny Hotas, but am not able to setup for gameplay! Neither in Steam controller settings (where it is falsely detected as GamePad and not Joystick/Hotas) nor in FSX: SE (it simply does not appear) i am able to use/setup it.

Windows 10 did initialize the drivers correct, and all buttons are even working out of the box in the input section of the Windows configurations.

Any help, anyone?

Take a look at the Thrustmaster site for drivers and installation instructions.

With some Thrustmaster controllers you have to install the drivers *BEFORE* you plug into the USB ports, such as my Thrustmaster TWCS Throttle.

In the Steam controller settings turn everything off.

Your controllers will be recognized but will have a controller icon rather than a joystick icon.

Thx Erazer, this turning off works, but that is what I wanted to ask in first place, as I want to make the Hotas work with Steam and my other Gamepads.... together!

Aha!

Well, I only have a HOTAS arrangement so I can not be of much help with your predicament.

I can only guess that you have to swap from one to another in the Controller settings as you change games.

It is my main complaint that Steam does not make each game independent.
