Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

FSX vs FSX Gold edition
Hey guys
I recently thinking to purchase the FSX GOLD edition but I just want to know, what's the difference between the normal FSX and FSX gold edition?

Fsx Premium, which I expect you mean by Gold, contains 6 extra add-ons, these are all texture add-ons, some of which are very good in my oppinion. I would only buy premium edition if you have a beefy computer that can run games at the highest settings with no lag. It is a simulation game which means it is very detailed and it takes a very good computer to run, having these extra add-ons means it will run even slower but if you have a good pc, it should work fine.

FSX Gold is FSX Deluxe bundled with the Acceleration Pack http://www.amazon.co.uk/Flight-Simulator-Gold-Edition-PC/dp/B001E95V5K

It has nothing to do with Steam and doesn't include the add ons mentioned above.

Obviously this doesn't apply if you were in fact asking about the premium bundle.

FSX:SE base edition has SP1, SP2 and the Acceleration Pack Included.
