I just got this. Online specs show its top speed to be 390 knots but in game it can only do 280 before hitting overspeed. Also, its autothrottle function isn't working for me and its got some bugs with the panel lighting and navigation key pad as they both only work some of the time. Awesome little jet though and hopefully those small issues will get fixed in an update.

Hi BeebeYourself and thank you for your feedback.
Would you be able to expand upon the issue you are having please. We can then investigate these for you.
What are you doing to engage the autothrottle? In what way is it not working?
What are the potential bugs with the panel lighting and navigation key pad? When are they not working for you?
The more details you can provide, the more we can understand what you are experiencing.
Thank you for the help,
- Martin
A good question. Key concepts: TAS, IAS, CAS...

I have spoken to our development team about this for you. Here are some tips that might help.
We assume you are referencing the Wikipedia top speed which states 390 kts. This converts to roughly 275-280 Knots Indicated Airspeed (KIAS) from sea level to 28,000 feet and FSX measures speed as KIAS, hence the difference.
In terms of the autothrottle this is described in the manual as follows: “The Phenom does not have a traditional auto throttle system. When in level flight at cruise altitude the CSC button on the glare shield will hold the aircraft at the speed set using the SPD knob. CSC cannot be used during climb or descent.”
Finally in regards to the lights, as with all other FeelThere aircraft you cannot press ‘L’ to turn on the lights, they need to be manually turned on.
We hope that helps, if you are still having issues please let us know and we will be happy to investigate further.

I printed an Operations Manual from feelThere, but it seems to be for another version, FS9 and FSX. I'm using FSX Steam edition. Will I be able to use the manual to learn the systems? Is there another manual? The reason I ask is because I'm not finding a config. utility for the Phenom.
the manual is linked on the store page
http://cdn.akamai.steamstatic.com/steam/apps/379575/manuals/Phenom_100_Manual_1.3.pdf
I bought the FSX: Steam Edition-Embraer Phenom 100 Add-on (official) in 5/18/2016.
The Panel buttons are not active, I can't configure the aircraft and even connect the batteries.
Only work the FLAP; PARKING BRAKE; THRUST LEVEL; LANDING RAISES LEVEL.
Please, someone would know how to solve this issue?
No speak English, I'm Brazilian, I use a translator.
Thanks

I have an incredibly loud and constant background noise with this aircraft (louder with engines runing but present without also). I haven't had this problem before and it is not associated with other aircraft I have.
The volume control has no effect on it, and it still continues even when I enter 'Time and Season' or 'Aircraft' or any of the other pages which mutes automatically all other sounds.
It sounds like it could be wind/GPU/engine/other environment background noise but I have no idea why it is there.
It makes playing pretty much impossible, so just wondered if anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.
Try turning off the air conditioning and see if the sound continues
