I don't know if its any good yet as i haven't tried it yet.
As for FSHostClient, it's good, as in it allows FS2002, FS2004, and FSX clients to all play together, but it can be a little laggy, and everyone who plays -MUST- have their ports forwarded for all players to join, otherwise a server dies quickly.
There are a few server hosting software's available to the flight sim community.
FSHost: https://www.chocolatesoftware.com/fshost/?fshostclient.html
JoinFS: http://joinfs.net/
FSHost is for FS2002, FS2004, P3D, FSX:SE and FSX.
JoinFS is for **MFS2024, MFS2020, P3D, XP, FSX:SE and FSX.
NOTE: Only the server host has to port foward.
Ports for JoinFS and FSHost are not the same.
JoinFS only use 1 port(Default PORT: 6112 - Server and Client side)
FSHost use multi ports server side. But only 23456 0r ***23457 client side
Be sure to allow server host/client software thru your firewall.
Join rule for all servers.
DO NOT JOIN ON RUNWAY!

ALL WELCOME!
**Eventually
***If 2 PC's are playing from same network:(FSHost)
PC1 Portt:23456
PC2 Port: 23457(change in MP client setting)
Hope that helps. Enjoy!
....are you really advertising a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ FSHost server?
in the year of our lord 2024?
In a nearly 10 year old thread?
