AI Carriers for Steam FSX (Works)
Utilizing the .NET framework instead of the java for FSX go here

Then download AI Carriers. You will need to add in a launch addon section to the DLL.XML file, but i can confirm it works 100% Happy trapping :) Pvt.Snowball AKA HOTZONER

Hotzoner, damn been a long time...anyhow thanks for the headsup, installed and working aicarriers2, wonder if the hi-res carriers will work with this install, only 1 way to find out
it does ;)
BTW, I find that an aircraft on a moving deck is really smooth too, no jumping or hopping etc. :)
im itching to get flying again, no bouncing on the deck is noce, I did notcie landing tipped over my ac, butthat could actually be i was skewed on landing
Could someone help me with the installation of this system? I tried to follow the README file including, but not understand, someone could explain me better how to install the .NET AIcarriers?
its exactly like the other install....
just put in your install directory in your SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\
where mine is loaded in drive E:\\, so it looks like this
E:\\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\AICARRIERS
inside the AICARRIERS directory, you will have another directory Conf.d
inside that directory you will want to put cv68_69.cfg from the uss_nimits_ike package
look on google for uss nimitz_ike for fsx, you should be able to dl it from most aviation sites for fsx
the newest .net version of aicarriers is available from here

Hello i would like to load this but cant get it to work for steam edition . not sure if i need Accelerator or SP2 or SP2 can anyone help
acceleration and sp1, sp2 are included in FSX:SE, you may need to load all the simconnects, as steam does not install them for you
my fsx:se is installed on my E: drive
there are actually (4) simconnects in FSX:SE
E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces
3 of them are in the legacyinterfaces directory in each of the following directories
FSX-RTM
FSX-SP1
FSX-XPACK
the 4th one is located up a level in the LIB directory
Yes im finding out more as each day goes by. One of the main things i was trying to do was load AICarriers , After numerous attempts i finally got it to work , Its sweet !!!
i would assume you installed the .net version? I have it installed, works like a champ...
now all i need is to get my tacpack and superbug installed again
No didnt install the NET version ,i would like to but having some problems with it ,well its installed on my computer with windows 7 but not the default ,i believe it wuld be better than Java. Have any ideas.
the .net version installed exactly the same as the java version, it just requires .net 4.0 which should already be installed on your computer if updates are on...
The jave version is not compatible with SE(i havent been able to get it running anyhow)

Ok got it to work ,however occasionally it freezes up and i have to reboot the computer. i like it but maybe too much junk in folders from experimenting with installations .
if you have any problems, check in on the forums, look for Orion from FSdreamteam

Where is DLL.XML located?
