This is not all together true. I have the QW 757 installed in SE and it seems fine...although have not done a full flight plan, take off, departure, approach, and taxi-to-gate yet. I flew for about 20 minutes and all systems appeared to be working. Point is it installed and thus far works normally.

No problem AT ALL here too. Qualitywings 757 working perfectly in FSX SE here. Be careful with what you say in the forums.

Don´t have anything extra to say because i didn´t do anything special. Just followed the install instructions and it worked perfectly. It even found the correct FSX install folder. And NAVIGRAPH found without a glitch the 757 in FSX and installed the AIRAC too.
One thing that is important: Download a fresh installer in QW site. I had some trouble too, but it was that i had a very old installer.

I have P3DV2 and FSX SE installed at the moment. Had FSX boxed before, but uninstalled as no need to have 2 FSX. QW installed perfectly in P3D and FSX SE.

i have installed 757 freemium, but it doesnt appear ingame. I only can see 737 and 747 defaults by the game.

his79 found how to make the model show up when you selected the flight. But you say it is not even in your aircraft hanger?

I solved the Freemium 757 invisible plane issue by running "Steam\SteamApps\common\FSX\SDK\Core Utilities Kit\SimConnect SDK\LegacyInterfaces\FSX-XPACK\SimConnect.msi" after installing the addon as suggested in another comment. Nice aircraft btw.

Yes, it´s important to run the simconnect installer too to make all addons work. I forgot about that, sorry.

I bought and tried his advice on how to get QW's 757 pack working with FSX-SE.

This is how to install and get the 757 working on FSX-SE

Go to Quality Wings Website and select Downloads link below -

Download and install - Ultimate 757 Full Installer (V1.3) - The Ultimate 757 Collection for FS9/FSX (SP3) - Updated 9/11/14

Run the installer and then wait for prompt for the activation Code. Use the code that was emailed to you after your purchase and continue with the installation.

As it installs it will automatically locate your FSX-SE folder and installs.

Once it has finished installing and you have activated your product. Proceed to play FSX where messages will prompt if you agree to QW's software to be installed in your FSX and guages etc.. I accepted but read if you have doubts.

It will then prompt to back up and save your Key for future installations.

Then you should have a look yat your aircraft and it will be located.

Thanks for the note about the "Freemium" 757. I downloaded it and it installs just fine and runs very nicely. This could be a starting point for new users who don't like the build-in airliners. The manual is very good too. If you want a US livery, check out the American Airlines download - also free.
