FSX DirectX 10 - Fullscreen - Blackscreen

I'm currently running FSX with DirectX 10 and when I switch to fullscreen mode I have a blackscreen. The entire game still running but I have only the mouse cursor and a blackscreen. My Nvidia drivers are up to date.

Anyone had the same issue or an idea ?

I'm having the exact same problem, works fine in windowed mode, but as soon as I switch to fullscreen, screen goes black and I have to switch back. I'm really hoping someone has a fix for this.

As I know I have the same issue in the box version. I'm really wondering what's wrong.

Any other players use DX10 mode in fullscreen ?

I am using DX 10 with Steve's tool. But i am not playing in fullscreen mainly because i use a second monitor to run some other programs alongside the simulation. But i am using a trick to make the game show up as if it is in fullscreen mode. I use Autohotkey with a fullscreen script. Thanks Raz for the reply. I use also (after my issue) Steeve's tool for DX10 Fix I will get a look on you workaround until I find what's going wrong

How come? I see it was suggested on Orbx scenery. I myself have not encountered any issues with it. However you have a point when it comes to having the DVD version installed. In that case yes, registries are the problem because FSX SE creates separate registries if you also have the DVD edition and also renames some critical files. I had to go through a windows re-install to use the DX10 fixer so that SE edition would install like it's DVD counterpart.

Thanks Dave but I had this issue a long before Steeve DX10 Fix , I'm looking for a fix not tell me what's addon is compatible or not.

I just found a fix for my issue ! I just uninstall Teamviewer and my game work now in fullscreen ! Maybe Patou316 have you got Teamviwer installed ?

Thx Othala :) J'ai désinstaller Teamviewer 10 et ça fonctionne en plein écran. Reste à savoir d'ou venait le conflit.

Don't use DirectX 10 preview. Repeat Don't use DirectX 10 preview.

Actually FSX is not a real fullscreen it's a windowed fullscreen. Teamviewer add a new feature juste next the dash of windows that's may cause this issue, that the reason when I uninstalled Teamviewer it works !
