PMDG 737 NGX works after installation of SimConnect
I just want to say the PMDG 737 NGX works after the installation of SimConnect,
the PMDG 777 doesn't work!

I will NOT ANSWER on this,

pmdg md11 also works great...love that old bird....still looks and sounds awesome.

I have installed SimConnect and my NGX still does not work. FSX locks up and crashes as soon as you get in the cockpit.

I tried the same thing. Installed SimConnect and whenever I try to click any dials the sim crashes.

When I first seen FSX on Steam I thought, 'Wow, so cool!' That was short lived...Not worth a ♥♥♥♥ if it's incompatible with 85% of EVERYTHING EVERYONE uses in the sim. I wonder if the developers even gave this a thought or if they even tested a single addon. This is the kind of thing that happens when games are developed by people that don't even play them or even understand the 'community' they are trying to sell them to. I'm most likely going to have to go back to a single install of the 'legacy' copy of the sim so I can use all the 'goodies' I have gotten for it over the years, disappointing to say the least.

Grab X-plane 10 and start downloading scenery for airports since they are bare. Each sim has it's issues. I agree that the addons AND directX fixes should have been applied on release to Steam. FSX has been waiting for the coveted directx10 for YEARS. Still in "preview" mode? what? The only real difference right now is the pricing point.

6 in one 1/2 dozen in the other.

I have X 10 Global, it's a real handful to use. It feels very 'unfinished' to me. I'll probably give it another look in the future I'm sure.
