game just crashed on 4th mission. Win 7 64 bit. so 1 crash in about 40 minutes so far.

I have windows 8.1 64 bit. 6.5 hours of playing and no crashes

Win 7 64 bit. Not a single crash, running on ultra with a ton of addon aircraft working great.

Friend of mine has the gold edition, and has trouble running it on windows 7. I figured this steam edition would fix their issues. I could be wrong. Depends on the hardware, I guess.

Win 7/32 Nv6800 and can't launch this at all

Only issue I'm having on Windows 8.1 is that I have to use task manager after every flight becasue it closes but doesn't re-open the flgiht launcher or w/e it's called but still is marked as running.

Your processor speed is just below the minimum recommended. Also if this is an integrated graphics chip set it may in fact work but is not officially supported.
