REX Essential PLUS w/OverDrive

Hi does anybody know if REX works with the steam edition of FSX?

Ok Ive tested it and seems to be working fine.

I'm getting an 'unhandled exception' error whenever I try to use Rex Eessential plus w/Overdrive. Any suggestions?

It could be that you need to download microsoft .NET framework 4 but Im not positive on that one.

After rex loads the textures and ask if i would like to fly now, it opens fsx but then closes rex itsefl...any suggestions?

Does rex close completely or does it minimize?

I have the same issue. Rex closes completely when I hit "FLY NOW". Textures are there, but no weather injected.

Maybe to do with the settings in rex options/settings and fsx settings, in the rex pdf it explains what settings you need for the weather injection to work within fsx.

Well last night I updated REX to latest sevice pack (which is sp3) and after that I started having the same problem, but I resolved it by downloading a hotfix which you can find here- http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/forums/index.php?/topic/32114-rex-ess-plus-overdrive-service-pack-3-hotfix-for-build-3820141126/ then go to where rex was installed and running the simconnect exe.
