Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

DirectX: Version 9.0c
So, this version is the same than original FSX? No DX 10-11 support? The Acceleration Pack gave DX 10 beta support, but today this is just not enough.
Any other news about that?
Cheers

This was posted from DTG over at another thread:
FSX-O only supported DirectX9 (and a preview of DX10).
Does FSX-Steam improve the graphics?

No. Well, that's not completely true. There are some really minor improvements in a few places, but not so much that that most existing FSX-O users will notice.

That's right. Please refer to this thread for an overview of the differences between the boxed release of FSX and FSX: Steam Edition.

There is NO DX-10 (other than the preview) Not recommended to run in FSX...

DX-10 was skipped over for DX-11.

I run FSX in directx 10 preview mode without worries using the payware dx10 fixer from steve. I highly recommend it. I haven't ran FSX in D9 mode for a long time and wouldn't contemplate it.
