de havilland Beaver DHC2 - on ground

[FAJA at the Glen]

After choosing the Beaver DHC2 aircraft and starting the flight the airplane is placed on the ground and will not taxi as the gear appears to be up.

Is there a way to drop the gear when loading the flight in order to take off from a runway??

as long as crash is disabled, you can always lower the gear,(G key)

I set the realism to ignore crashes and damages but no effect on lowering the gear ... still stuck.

hmmm, try another aircraft with gear like the mooney bravo, see if its gear is deployed, then try the beaver again.

looks like the beaver doesnt have wheels in FSX, at least the floatplane version, ILL check it on my end as well
yup this is the water based version, no gear on it ...you can download beavers with gear as well, not sure if seaplanes other than goose have wheels in fsx tho
a google search or checking sim sites would be appropriate at this point

That fsx beaver is a good plane to fly. Is there anwhere with the same plane with wheels (the same plane not another beaver.)

I can recomend the Aerosoft DHC Beaver . It has many options including wheels and floats . It works well with steam. I havent had any problems.

Beaver doesn't have wheels in FSX. There's freeware model in Hellenic Air Force livery, at https://www.fs-freeware.net/downloads/download/88-propeller-aircraft/2754-fsxa-dhc-2-beaver-wheeled-version.html

There's also amazing payware Beaver (even with expansion pack as an add-on to add-on) by MilViz.com. Probably worth waiting for a sale on this one.

I select the nearest airport and once the flight loads, I bring up the map and move the plane to nearest water. The plane is flying so I land and save the flight.
