Yes it works fine with SE. Even if you were considering the PRO version it's still cheaper to buy LITE first because there's an upgrade option from SimMarket. You might find LITE is all you need. If you're just looking for a one click install for some more variety in AI with no messing about LITE is probably the best paware option because the others are probably giving you more than you need.
I would say peformance is comparable to default, not any better or worst that you'd notice just by flying. You might spot a difference with some testing but I don't think performance is a strong reason to buy an AI addon.
I posted this in another thread, too, because it really pissed me off. Hours and hours of unwrapping, validating, installing and configuring various addons all undone by one inept developer... enraging.
I was thinking of going to My Traffic 6 but as someone here said 2013 works I'm wondering if there's a key to getting it going that I've missed somehow?
Any hints welcome, thanks
Here is "Sky AI traffic version 1.5"
... i m downloading it now as well man
If you fly more often in multiplayer sessions, then you 'll not gona have any problems.Multi sessions are often emptyer, you know ..
Any help on this at all please?
mitsoswu responded with the following which is misleading on how the AI percentage is calculated
WHAT the AI TRAFFIC SLIDER ACTUALLY DOES
The slider DOES NOT control the percentage of AI aircraft displayed. It only sets the threshold for the cut-off of the number of AI aircraft displayed.
Each AI flightplan from traditional programs like Traffic 360 and My Traffic has a % number. The AI slider only determines which AI flightplans will be used.
For example - many freeware AI flight plan writers use 1% for all their flight plans - thus at 1% or higher on the AI Traffic slider - 100% of the AI traffic will display. So lowering the AI traffic slider has no impact on those flight plans/ packages. It's all or nothing.
The commercial programs do use randomized flight plan settings - but they do not produce exact percentages due to the way AI flight plans work. The only way to truely compare two programs is to adjust the AI slider so that the exact same number of AI aircraft are active in the visual AI Zone (125 mile radius of your airplane) and the exact same number of aircraft are displayed on the active airport.
35% in one program which displays 35 AI aircraft does not mean 50% with another program will display 50 AI aircraft. Also, unless the two computers are identical, with the same OS, and exactly the same FSX:SE setup - you really can't say one program is more FPS friendly than the other.
I do own three commercial programs - and on the same computer - I see less than a 5% difference between any of them (FPS wise at 100% on the AI Traffic slider).
My personal AI Traffic is World of AI (WOAI) and Alpha India Group (AIG) supplemented by Airlines/GA where I've added the flightplans and aircraft manually. I also have a lot of military AI Flightplans that are developed by Military AI Works (MAIW).
Those of of you who says it takes yeras to download. Just get the utility and it will take less than 20 mins (at least for me). Then make a backup and you are set for life :).
