Abacus is garbage. they still sell Brian Gladden's AT-802. Its been freeware since it was published, but they will charge you $10 for it.
This often works for the disc version and may work for FSX SE:
When installation is finished, if it worked, you'll have only the folders and files created by the installer. You can then copy those parts into your working FSX SE folder.
If your addon is dependent upon the existence of other products in the Flight Simulator folders, it may not install all necessary components using this method.
