third party mods, where do i install them ?

hi! i have some pmdg's and wondering wich folder shall i mark as installation folder when it comes to steams own edition of FSX ?

It's located in Program Files(x86)>Steam>steamapps>Common>FSX.

what if you have an .exe file like the ones you get from PMDG ?
its asking me wich folder it shall be installed in, and even if i make my own folder inside /simobjects/airplanes and name it "PMDG_BAe_JS4100" it says it has succesfully installed in it. but the folder is empty and ingame i does not have the plane !?

Like I said above, FSX Steam Editon is located at Program Files(x86)>Steam>SteamApps>Common>FSX. Select that folder when asked where to install it.

so just put it in the main FSX folder and not in any airplanes folder at all O.o ?

i deleated the old directory wich were from my cd-version. that one had been installed on the C-disc while the new steam version is on my D-disc.

but now when i am gonna install the PMDG it says "unable to locate FSX.exe unable to install."
wtf do i do now xD ?

Rilleboy, best thing to do is contact the third party mod support and ask them what they reccomend.

Usually, unless told otherwise, yes. Just select your FSX folder as the install path.
