ADE does work with FSX:SE. It just can't use the SDK folder in FSX:SE. It need to use the FSX SDK or P3D v1.4 SDK that is available for free from Lockheed Martin. You can point ADE to any compatible SDK. I will try and get an article together on setting up ADE for FSX:SE since we now know that DTG do not plan to provide the missing files
So the answer to your question is Yes.

Yeah, meant to say FSX:SE's SDK doesn't work with ADE.
I'll just install Gold's SDK and use it with ADE to edit FSX:SE's airport.
That will work and we will try and release a help article on how to use ADE with FSX:SE. Essentially this is quite simple - point ADE at the FSX:SE folders and at a version of the SDK aquired either from an existing boxed edition or by using the P3D v1.4 SDK, which can be accessed free of charge without purchasing a license to P3D.
Give us a couple of days to put something together.
I have the P3D v1.4 SDK installed and it works. Set the paths in ADE to the folders the BGLComp and shp2vec compilers are installed in and ADE will compile your enhanced airport visual and non-visual scenery.
If you used the P3D SDK installer ADE will read the registry and find the folders/compilers for you.
