iFly 737 help
Hey everyone!
So I just purchased the 737 from iFly because I saw it was listed in one of the forum posts as one of the few that FSX steam supports right now. It installed just fine I believe, at the end it did give me a warning about something and now i wish i payed more attention to it. But im hoping someone here had the same issue installing it. When I load the aircraft into the game it has no landing gear, the engines are on but the cabin is cold and dark, I am unable to click on any knobs or buttons or anything and the yoke is turned completely to the left. Any help would be awesome!

Check to see if you have sim connect installed. if you do then maybe look to see if you need FSUIPC

Alright I was able to figure it out, just had to install all the simconnects now it works beautifully.

My next question is I am trying to download some new liveries and i cannot find where the airplanes are stored now in the iFLY file. Any suggestions?

Hey rocky,
Do not buy it. It is not fully compatible the post is wrong in the one thread. The plane loads fine but the FMC does not work with fsx steam yet. Get the omega 737 just got it today and everything works. Hope this h lps

PMDG works wonderfully. It's the only 737 addon endorsed by Boing.

I've done a number of flights with ifly 737 on FSX:SE now and have not had an issue with FMC; it worked as intended, and LNav, VNav are all functional. If it makes a difference at all I cold & dark started most if not all of the flights.

As for the frame rates I have never had PMDG 737NGX to compare to, but the ifly hit is comparable to that of the PMDG 777 in the Virtual cockpit.
