Flight Sim X vs Flight Sim 2004
Which is better? Subjectively of course.

I have wracked many hours into Flight Sim 2004 and have just started X, I wanted to know everyone's opinion on it.

If you have the hardware, FSX looks much better. Vanilla flight 'dynamics' would be the same. Of course, modern addons for FSX beat the slag out of FS2004 (think A2A, Majestic, PMDG, ...) and Orbx sceneries, to name a couple.

The terraiin graphics are much better in FSX and there are a lot more residential homes. FS9 uses generic buildings through out the world where FSX gives you buildings that match the area your flying in.

The fps in FS9 far exceeds that of FSX, even FSX_SE, so if your not concerned with crisp terrain features and moving cars then FS9 is better.
