WWII combat simulation?
Been looking for WWII realistic combat flying simulation for the Pacific Theater as Japanese Empire, not sure if this have all the goodies or not.

Have anyone ever heard or played Warbird 2015? they want money after 30 days free trial and was told isnt worth it.

you can get your self the Spitfire aircraft from "RealAir" if you like, but it has no weapons on it
... it is just for flying and training. there are other programs for weapons .... if you have money...

I would get IL-2 Sturmovik:1946 and mod it (It's pretty easily modded) and play as the Japanese Navy or Army, etc. Though it may take some practice to land on a carrier, the Zero is a bit flimsy.

War Thunder isnt that bad, but flying with other players seem to be inaccurate due to exploits and battle settings.

Warbird 2015 isnt that bad, but there is no campaign involved. Just players and the maps is pretty big in the Pacific. Unfort they want too much for monthly fees, isnt worth it.

I havent tried out IL-2 yet, so i am going to wait and see if they are planning on making Pacific Campaign.

IL-2 1946 comes with a pacific campaign, you can play as Japanese Navy or Army, whatever you want. It's very flexible.

Yeah i got that one, it wasnt too bad, but unfort i couldnt use my mouse to fly. So wasnt easy to setup my flightstick. Though you were talking about the new IL-2 whatever it was.

Use to play that when i was a kid back in those days, its old and ugly. I am sure something will popup later on. Only one i can think of is IL-2 1946 and War Thunder.

Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2 was also paciffic theater, but is also not very recent. Flight sims are undergoing somewhat of a revival after a long period in decline, But most of the action is in high-fidelity sims like Prepar 3D, DCS, or IL-2. You will need a flight stick to enjoy such games.

Yeah but no combat or military excercise. Remember Falcon 3.0? that was a great sim too, not sure about 4.0, dont think i had a chance to play it back then.
