internet

hey there...i want to use real world weather,but i get the message..not connected to internet.
I have good internet/wifi,so no problem...what can i do in the game to use real world weather

I'd suggest buying either ActiveSky or FSRealWX 3. The default weather engine in FSX has long gone busted.
(edit: ActiveSky Next is no longer sold on Steam. look for ActiveSky 16 for FSX instead)

Do you need FSUIPSC for either of them? I have a heavily modified FSX and FSUIPSC causes crash at some airports.

Edit: "No active sky 2012 uses Simconnect" while "FSREALWX3 does require FSUIPSC"

found the answer, let me know if this is inaccurate?
