Camera Controls
There are many cameras available and you can move them around using shortcus. There are expansions available that enhance this system greatly but these basic keys will help you out if you don't want to use the mods.
S : Changes camera category ( Cockpit views, outside view, Tower, Traffic, Airplane cameras )
A : Changes camera within set category
Space : Hold space to pan the camera.
Space + mouse wheel : Zoom in and out.
These are the shorcuts allowing to move the camera by increments.
Elevation Up : SHFT ENTER
Elevation Down : SHFT BACKSPACE
Left : CTRL SHFT BACKSPACE
Right : CTRL SHFT ENTER
Forward : CTRL BACKSPACE
Back : CTRL ENTER
By opening the options bar ( ALT ) you can go to the views tab and open the different instrument panels like the GPS, radio, 2D cockpit, overhead panel, throttle levers etc.
Also, you can open a new windows with a different camera. You can have a camera outside pinned in the cockpit if you want.
Other than that, look at the controls section in your settings, You can even set the controls how you want.
leoyako previous versions you could move the tower view and set it's elevation the map view has two modes tower mode and airplane mode(check box in map view). You can enter the lat/long directly or click on the tower and drag (works with your plane too). In map view zoom in click and hold drag to the spot next to the runway then enter desired elevation in box. Unfortunately Steam does not seem to have the tower mode in map view.
