How to play with a German qwertz keyboard?
Hello,
i know the game is in English only which is fine, but I'm playing on a German qwertz keyboard which makes some controls difficult. For example, in the tutorial the voice says I have to press ; to save, but on a German keyboard it's actually ü by default. Do I have to check every single key or can I somehow switch to a German keyboard in the game?

Hi, I don't know how to tell you what you can to do with your german layout keyboard but ingame in settings part you are always able to remap all the keybindings as you want wich it does your prefered keys mapping. If you follow the tutorials "how to fly" stuff it is possible the announced keys are not corresponding of your personnal keymapping but if you remember what keys are replaced by yours it could be easy to end with success your tutorial mission. Hoping you can enjoy this game as you wish.

Yes as Pootis Guy say you must remap all the keys with your prefered keybinding as you want. This could take some time but as soon as it is done you are in a easy way for you to play with your german keyboard layout.

The easiest way would be to buy a cheap usb enblish=us keyoard. Add keyboard language support for US English and use this when you are playing.
You can have two keyboards on at the same time'

Just add next keyboard to your windows from control panels - clock, language (not sure as I have not english Win). There is keyboard settings and just ADD English keyboard to your German. You can swittch between used keyboard with ALT+SHIFT shortcut. For FSX you will switch to ENG keyboard...

But for me Czech keyboard works fine as associated keys are same even letter on key is different. For example I have no combination of SHIFT+3 but SHIFT+š

Cant zou just pop the kezs off and switch them like I did, or is zour kezboard too new?
