Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Steam Edition

What is the difference between Flight Simulator X Gold (with Acceleration) and Steam Edition
Hi, is there any big difference between the original Flight Simulator X with Acceleration and the Steam Edition? I have some addons for the original game, if I move to Steam Edition, can I import them or I need to repurchase them again? I mean, for example I have Flight Passangers and some additional planes. Or If I have the original version, is it possible to use it through Steam and purchase additional extensions for the purchased, but not Steam edition? (Like Dangerous approaching, Crew, etc..)
Thank you!

Steam edition is the same, most addons work (You won't need to re-purchase them, just reinstall them to the steam directory).

Just to add to this, the multiplayer matching system has replaced the defunct GameSpy with Steam's own version.

I've just bought it yesterday, I've got the NGX installed ok, how can I get active sky 2012, original Airbus x ext and the fs2crew for ngx and a320 working in FSX-SE?

Currently have fsx boxed Ed installed as well, may remove this though.

Be warned....if you try and remove the boxed it will likely doink your steam version (if it's installed side-by side).

Have removed it this morning and when i started SE, it validated install and I think it may have downloaded something but opened ok.
Will hopefully get time to run a test flight shortly.

Thanks for the update though.
