Instant Scenery 3 news ?

Regretting not to see many animals in free mode, i browsed the internet and found many contradictory info about this program that is supposed to enable users to add many items.

I also found this Steam thread

So, i would like to know if some of you managed to use it with Steam

Nota : i found this French hint : if you allready own the program it is supposed to make it possible with Steam if only Steam version is installed on the computer, with Windows 8 installed.

You need to copy the file C:\Users\"User name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\dll.xml before installing the module Instant Scenery,
Then place this file in C:\Users\"User name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE then launch the ModuleInstaller.exe that will modify this file :
C:\Users\"User name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE\dll.xml to validate Instant Scenery.
Then you must copy this modified file then paste it in C:\Users\"User name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX
(dont forget to make a .bak of the vanilla file just in case of a mismatch).

Nota: if the file C:\Users\Jean-Paul\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX-SE does not exist, you must create it.

Then, launch FSX, and when you get an error message for Instant scenery dll, click on the "check OnLine" button bottom left of the error box, that will allow the update to enable Instant Scenery 3 with FSX SE

Nota :

- translation from a hint from "Lucky"
- i also read that Instant Scenary would no longer be supported about march 2015, so no idea if the whole of this has a chance to work.

Have you checked the Flight1 forums? Instant Object is the only program that isn't compatible with Steam.
